About Us: Legacy for Living - Founder, Exec. Director
Patti Chriestenson is the Founder and Executive Director of Legacy for Living. She is also the Ministry Director for Lubbock Rays of Hope. Patti has worked and ministered to children for over 30 years and is the Founder & Executive Director for "Up with Worship!" - the children's outreach ministry of Lubbock Rays of Hope. She is the author of "Leading a Child to Christ" and the Producer & Director of "Up with Worship! - A Children's Musical Drama CD". She has a BS in Home Economics from Texas Tech University with a Degree in Human Development & Family Studies & a specialization in Child Development. She is a Children's Pastor and has studied at Christ for the Nations Bible Institute, Victory Bible Institute, and earned her Certificate of Christian Ministry from the COTR Ministry Training School. Patti and her husband, Wendel, are licensed and ordained Ministers of the Gospel. They have one child.

Our ministry is life-giving and its activity is based on the belief that your personal growth, needs, and desires are of utmost importance to God. Our entire team is committed to training and equipping you with life skills to be successful. Whether you are single, married, separated, or divorced; find yourself with or without children, we offer practical keys to help you be successful.
The Legacy for Living team will commit to pray and stand with you, our ministry partners, in prayer and through practical training. We do not offer professional acredited counseling, but we offer the wisdom of the Word of God and our various
personal experiences. Our desire is to encourage as we model biblical principles.
Legacy for Living is the family outreach ministry of Lubbock Rays of Hope, which is a non-profit religious organization founded by my parents, Jay and Pat Stanton.
